Rescue:
This poor little kitten has had a big fright at a very young age. He was found by following his
sad mews, in the dark, only to find him all alone in someone’s back yard. He was very frightened, and although they searched for any siblings or his mother cat, none were ever found,
even days later. His rescuer was just getting ready to accept some foster kittens from Pet
Patrol, feeling ready to bring homeless cats into their home and help them along the way. It
was an easy choice to take him in and try to find his owners if he had gotten out accidentally.
Since they live in a small town, and community social media is quite effective, they advertised
him but no one came forward saying that this little guy belonged to them. Pickles soon became part of Pet Patrol’s effort to find cats forever homes.
Personality:
He was super friendly and such a sweetheart when he came to his rescuer and immediately
chose to make any computer keyboard his seat of choice. He always greets us when we enter
a room and is quick to settle in nearby or in our laps. Pickles is especially good at pouncing
and initiates most wrestling matches with his other foster siblings. He has the sweetest little
meow and he seemed to recover quickly from being all alone outside. He is curious and confident and really happy being loved and cuddled. Pickles is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
