Rescue:
Yoko, Yolla and Yukon’s mother, had been found on a hobby farm with her two kittens. This is a
nice place in the country and the people are good to their animals on the farm. They are well
cared for and treated like pets. Yoko just arrived there one day out of the blue. They did not
know where she came from or what time of the night she arrived but she was at the feeding
station in the morning. Her two kittens were not immediately noticed. She brought them out of
hiding a day or two later and that is when the family felt it would be better for her to be placed
with a rescue organization and find a homes for her and her kittens. They had a limited
number of animals that they could care for and because cats breed so prolifically they just
didn’t want to have any more than those already in residence. Yoko came to us with her two
little kittens Yolla and Yukon and they all have all done extremely well in their foster home
Personality:
Yukon is a handsome tuxedo boy who is easy going and quiet. Initially a little shy when he first
arrived at his foster home, he is now starting to discover toys to play with and cat trees to
sleep on. He is a cuddler and likes to be picked up and have pets, showing his happiness
with purrs and kitty kisses. Yolla is his lovely little sister who is starting to follow her people
around and check out things up high so she can have the best view of the room. She loves to
lay in the sunbeams of the window to sleep or watch the birds outside. Toys were quite a
mystery for her but she has taken to chasing the wand toys and anything than bounces is of
interest. The foster family has found that the kittens cuddled up together and seek each other
out to play, so it would be nice for them to be adopted together into their forever home. One
that will welcome into the family and keep them safely indoors.
