Rescue:

A young man driving home from work noticed Taiga casually walking along the side of the
road. It was not a main highway or city street, it was off the beaten track. He lived in a smaller
town and the back roads were more accessible for him to get home. He pulled over immediately and half expected this pretty kitty to scurry into the long grass along the road. But she
didn’t. He got out of his car and called to her, she stopped and looked at him and then trotted
quickly in his direction. She was soon rubbing up against his legs and showing him a lot of
love and attention and he knew he just couldn’t leave her out there all alone. She was on the
side of the road for a reason, and that is because she had no where else to go. Taiga was
soon in his car and knowing that his family members were not interested in have a cat right
now, he began thinking of friends or family that could take her. Eventually she came into Pet
Patrol care and is now ready for her new home.

Personality:

Taiga is lovely. She is super sweet, laid back and affectionate. She is very affectionate and
likes everyone who comes in the door. She is so grateful for the soft bed, climate controlled
sanctuary and lots of fresh water and food. We have never seen her seem unsure, hiss, swat
or growl – she only knows about purring and giving little kitty kisses. Taiga is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family, keep her safely indoors and adore
her as much as she will adore them.
