ADOPTION PROFILE

Lionel

Lionel

Lionel

Rescue:

From his rescuer/foster family. “This poor fella started showing up at our house in the summer.
He appeared to be very thin and a little frightened but he comes by fairly consistently for dinner. So, over the summer he gained some weight and now can be approached, especially
when you were offering a cat treat. He seems to enjoy a little scratch on the neck when he eats
his food. Life on the street is very rough and I am sure he would appreciate a better life somewhere warmer, climate controlled, and with endless food and water.” It didn’t take very long to
entice Lionel into the humane trap so that he could safely be transported to Pet Patrol. Once
there he appeared to be nervous and unsure of things, it was all new to him, but in time he
settled in nicely

Personality:

Lionel has been lucky enough to have been given a second chance in life. Not many people
would welcome a cat who has lived outside, into their home. He was considered
not very friendly and his foster home put the time and effort into helping him adjust to indoor life
with love. Time and patience is what is needed for these cats to become loving and affectionate felines with their people. Lionel has never shown an interest in going back outside, he has
had enough. He can now be pet, will jump up onto the couch to be with his people and his
discovery of toys, over time, has been quiet enjoyable. That is the sign of a cat becoming
happy go lucky. Lionel is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that is quiet and
serene and will keep him safely indoors.
