Rescue:
Tilly’s kittens were found by a four year old boy in a residential home’s backyard in a small
village. He had been playing outside as it was a nice spring day when he called for his
mother to come closer while saying “cute cute”. As she approached to see what he was
looking at she heard tiny innocent mews and then saw that there were two new born kittens.
They were amongst dry leaves which were piled onto damp dirt and surrounded by a hedge
and their eyes were not opened yet. Excited to see them, but concerned for their well being
they started looking for the mother cat. It is hard being a homeless cat living on the street and
trying to keep your kittens safe. Every time she left the nest to hunt for food or to move the
kittens, they were immediately prey for other critters outside. The people who found this little
feline family contacted Pet Patrol for help in rescuing them and soon a humane trap was
dropped off at their home. It only took a few hours to rescue Tilly. Then they gathered up the
babies and took them all inside the warm home.
Personality:
Tikki and Tongo are very happy go lucky kittens and love to romp and play with the many toys
in their foster home. They are not shy about investigating anything and everything from a new
room, boxes and bags, under the couch and behind the curtain. They don’t mind being picked
up and are happy to be cuddled. Although their mother cat was not too happy with the attention, these kittens have never played shy with people and look at them as family. Tikki and
Tongo are a bonded pair and ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
