Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a couple who had found this little kitten while out for an
evening walk. They stumbled across him inside of an excavator shovel, down the street from
where they live. It’s a construction site in the middle of the city and they didn’t know where he
may have originated from. Was he dumped there? Were there other kittens there? He
looked to be very young and had obviously been with people before since he could easily be
picked up and carried. The couple took him home and provided a little home for him in their
spare room with some food, water and litter box. They were not in a position to keep him and
were looking for a safe place for him to go in order to find a good home. After reaching out to
a number of city shelters and cat rescue organizations they came upon Pet Patrol and we
were able to have little Saroo come into our care that evening.

Personality:

Saroo is a playful and fun kitten who loves to explore! Everything he finds can be a toy – but he
especially loves chasing a ribbon or wand toy. He loves to spend time around children – he
has joined in games of hot wheels with the children in his foster home and is keen on what
they are doing. He has also been picked up and carried around often, and has been comfortable with whatever the kids want to do! When he is done playing, he will find a spot to snooze
and you will often be able to hear his loud, rumbling purr. This happy go lucky boy is ready to
be adopted into his forever home with gentle children. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
