Rescue:

Pet Patrol received an email from a woman needing to re home a beautiful long haired cat. Here
is her message: “I am in a tough situation at the moment, due to the sudden passing of my
brother. I have taken in his cat, it was only supposed to be temporary, as we have small children
and two pet cats of our own. Due to whatever she has been through and being moved from her
home to ours she has been showing signs of stress. We can no longer keep her and I am just
looking for any advice as to what we can do? I was already in contact with a city shelter and they
suggested a cat rescue for her. Any information you may have would be appreciated.” Chloe has
gone from a quiet, one person home to an active family with unpredictable noise, squeals and
hub bub. Nothing she was used to and she was not very happy with the change, she would hide
and not interact with anyone. A sad situation for everyone

Personality:

Chloe starts out a little shy and uncertain, but once she is comfortable with you she is the most
wonderful companion. She loves to be in the same room as her people, even if she’s just dozing
on the couch while the household goes about their business. She really enjoys to be pet and have
tummy and chin rubs and has the most delightful purr when you are giving her the attention. She
has comically large front paws, and a beautiful long coat that she keeps in good shape but also
allows you to help by brushing it. Chloe isn’t too interested in toys but a nice catnip mouse
catches her interest and her favourite past time is looking out the window or watching what is
happening in the house from a cozy perch. Chloe is a beautiful cat ready for adoption into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors
