Rescue:
Pet Patrol was approached by a woman who had done cat rescue many years ago. In
order to accommodate the cats, she moved to a home in a smaller village where the cat
overpopulation problem continues. Now retired from the business she is helping other
people rescue cats but not taking so many herself. She has come across a property where
the barn was torn down and the farmland is going to be re-purposed for a subdivision. This
is not an uncommon thing and what tends to happen is the cats migrate into the closest
neighbourhood for shelter and hopefully for food. One kind woman has been feeding these
cats but she has not been able to do much for more for them due to finances and health
issues. Our retired Rescuer is in the process of helping get the feral cats fixed and the
friendly cats into other rescues to be adopted into forever homes. This is the case for
mama A and her five kittens, Momma B and her two kittens, two orange teenagers C & C,
as well as buddy D.
Personality:
Bender is the parrot of the group. He loves to hang out up high on things like the cat tree,
shoulders and the back of the couch, these are all considered his perches. He is the most
vocal of the group and on the search for wet food which he loves, but he is also very interested in his people and wanting to spend time with them. He is quite the cuddler. Bender
is ready to be adopted into his forever home, preferably with a sibling or playmate in the
house. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
