Rescue:

Up north there is a small town that frequently, like most cities, has stray cats. In this little orange guys case, he found a feeding station set up by a nice lady and made his way there. He
stuck to it closely and found a spot out of the wind, between and dumpster and discarded
cardboard, waiting patiently for someone to take notice of him and rescue him off the street. It
was cold, wet, windy and unpredictable living outside, and a small and frail cat like O’Malley
was not keeping well. The woman searched for his owner, but none could be found and by
the time he was finally brought inside he had a cold and his eyes were infected. He did not
have a winter coat and he was filthy, but O’Malley purred deeply and burrowed himself into the
warm blankets in his rescue home, kneading the air in excitement for being saved. Shortly
there after, a convoy of cars was arranged to bring this lovely boy into Pet Patrol care. Vet
care was the first thing on the list for him, besides good nutrition and a lot of tender loving
care. O’Malley has thrived.

Personality:

Such a nice little guy, O’Malley can’t stop purring and nuzzling his care givers. He is happy to
be held and cuddled, and he shows his appreciation constantly. He is a very playful and energetic kitty and likes his toys and to run around with the other cats starting games of Hide &
Seek and diving through the kitty tunnel. Life is good. He can be found up on the window
ledge or the top of the cat tree, snuggled in with another cat or on his person’s lap. When he
first arrived at the sanctuary he did not make strange at all and was interested in his surroundings. O’Malley will make a wonderful addition to any home where there is an accepting and
playful cat, children or passive dog. He is a wonderful boy and ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
