Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a phone call from a young woman who had just brought a cat to us the day
before. That cat had been in a poor situation but now she was relinquishing her own cat that
she could no longer afford the medical care for. This was Karma. A pretty little black kitty who
was originally found in a dumpster. She was mewing frantically trying to get out but for any cat
it is such a challenge. The sides are so high, the bin is full of garbage and bacteria and at any
moment they could be dumped into a big truck. It is such a peril for cats and completely unnecessary. Karma was not well and was taken to the vet to received medication but it didn’t seem
to help and further treatments were not in the budget. Having no other alternative, she was
brought to Pet Patrol. The woman was very tearful, she had never done this before and it was
very sad for her cat.
Personality:
Karma is described as a very sweet and cuddly cat, loves her people and is very good company. She is quite the lap cat as well. As an affectionate girl she loves belly rubs and massages and is very devoted to her people. Karma is active and playful with laser pen light, toys
that include balls with bells and catnip in them are always a favorite. Gazing out the window is
where you will find her on a sunny afternoon, basking in the sunbeam watching the activities
outside. She is great with other cats and would like to be adopted into a home where she has
a buddy. Karma is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
