Rescue:

A long time volunteer for Pet Patrol, who had not been able to come and help for quite a while,
sent a text saying that she had a lovely champagne cat who had ventured into her barn. She is
located on a farm property, on a gravel road, which means it is far off the beaten track, in the
middle of nowhere. So, for a cat to show up there it has been purposely abandoned in some
way. When did she first see him? On her front porch crying to come into the house. Because
she has two large dogs that scared the cat, she felt that the best thing to do was house him in
a safe environment in her barn, where she keeps her chickens. She has a completely
screened in area that is seven feet long and tall and has a wonderful cat house inside for
warmth. It’s a temporary place for him to stay and it worked well as she tried to find his original owner. None was found and he was brought to Pet Patrol soon after.

Personality:

Finnegan appears to be just a really nice cat.
As a very handsome cat you can’t resist petting him, holding him and letting him cuddle on
your lap. He is quite obliging to do so. At this time of year he loves to sit on the wide window
sill and watch the world outside. Checking out the birds and even the traffic as it goes by the
property, all catch his attention. It is felt that Finnegan would do best as an only cat, he is a good kitty in need of a loving and attentive
home. He is ready to be adopted into one that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
