Rescue:

Mango’s story: A young woman was driving home and had to brake quickly so as to not hit the
orange and white kitty that ran across the road in front of her car. Her email reads : hi there! I
recently found a stray cat, female, short hair, orange and white, about two years old. We asked
all the neighbours in the area where we found her and no one knew who owned her, but they
did say that she had been hanging around there for a number of weeks. So, we took her to
the vet today and she has no microchip, she does not have any vaccines and she has not
been spayed. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep her or foster her. I was wondering if it would
be possible for her to find a foster home with one of your lovely volunteers until she finds a
forever home. In answering this message, we were happy to take in little Mango as her photos
showed that she was a very friendly and outgoing cat.

Personality:

Mango is as sweet as her name. She loves to cuddle up with you while you are reading a
book or watching TV. She has lots of snuggles to give and she can be pet and picked up
easily. Running and playing hide & seek in her cat tunnel is her favorite game. She likes to
play with ping pong balls and she carries springy toys in her mouth, proudly displaying her
catch. Turn on a laser light and watch her run and jump to get the light. When she is all
tuckered out she will climb up in her hammock for a nap or on the closest person. Mango is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
