Rescue:
A lady who lives in a small village close to the city had noticed a mother cat and her kittens in
the spring. The kittens were rescued and brought to Pet Patrol but she was not able to successfully rescue the mother cat and finally gave up trying, but that produced a second litter in
the fall. Wanting to save this litter as well, the same woman borrowed our humane trap and
little Griffin and his siblings came into our care within a day. Griffin was the first to be rescued
and not very happy to be by himself without his mom and siblings but it didn’t take very long at
all for the rest of the litter to be rescued and reunited. The mother cat is very wise to the trap
and with some trickery we have been able to entice her into the trap and onto safety. She has
since been spayed and assessed for friendliness.
Personality:
Griffin loves to play with anything that moves as he is an action packed kitty. His favourite toy
is a long plush toy that makes crinkly sounds. and he will throw it in the air, catch it and roll
around on the floor or in his kitty bed with it. Griffin likes to observe everything and can be
found sitting by the window for hours watching the birds and squirrels outside, and keeping
track of the neighbours walking their dog. He loves to sit on top of the cat tree for that birds
eye view of inside the house and outside as well. He is a great explorer and wants to check
out everything new coming into the house, including people. He would do well with another kitty
playmate to keep him entertained and burn off the kitten energy, and he gets along very well
with other cats. Griffin is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors
