Rescue:
A volunteer for Pet Patrol lives in a small rural village surrounded by farms. There are new
cats showing up all the time; some migrating from other farms and others abandoned by
owners. The volunteer has a feeding station set up and little insulated houses for the cats.
Beckett showed up about the same time as three other cats. When the volunteer talked to
this handsome tuxedo boy he didn’t run away but wouldn’t come to her either, however he
would chat back to her with little meows. Thats when she knew it wouldn’t take long to pet
him. He claimed one of the insulated houses in her yard and it only took a couple weeks to
be able to pet him so the volunteer asked Pet Patrol if they would take him in and of course
we did. Hopefully he can find a home that will be his forever home.
Personality:
A bit about Beckett’s personality: Beckett is a very affectionate boy who enjoys being pet
and brushed and he comes running to you for that affection . As soon as you touch him, he
starts purring and rolling over to show you his belly. He is very good with other cats and
has shown he wants their company. This cute boy is very playful and can occupy himself
with almost everything including balls, lasers and his mice toys. Although shy when he
initially came into Pet Patrol care, with time and patience he has come around beautifully.
He is such a dear cat. Beckett is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
