Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who needed help placing some of her kittens. It was
a busy family home with children and other pets, and the mom was juggling a lot to keep things
going. She had two male cats and two female cats in her house and none of them were fixed.
A little known fact is that a female cat does not have to be in heat to mate, and being in a
climate controlled environment the cats will breed all year round. Two litters were born within a
short period of time and we were very fortunate to get Jude and his two siblings as they are
well loved, gentle, healthy and family friendly. Rescued cats off the street sometimes need
some time and patience to come around to people and when they do it is very rewarding but
they often are not comfortable in an active home. Jude luckily has never felt wet grass under
his little feet, had to fend off starvation and cold by constantly moving from place to place or
been sick in the dead of winter. All the kittens came in very happy and ready for adoption.
Personality:
Jude is a sweet little kitten and quite independent until he wants to be cuddled. Then he will let
you know by jumping up into your lap, nudging your arm or leg and purring contently. He is
quite playful and is found playing with his favorite toys like the Rolly balls, dragging the wand
toy across the room after a successful capture, and of course the toy mice. He runs around
after his siblings and they have great games of Chase and Hide and Seek. When all tuckered
out you can find Jude sleeping on the chair under the kitchen table. He is a happy little cat
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors
