ADOPTION PROFILE

Bonnie

Bonnie

Bonnie

Rescue:

A volunteer for Pet Patrol lives in a small rural village surrounded by farms. There are new cats showing up all the time; some migrating from other farms and others abandoned by owners. The volunteer has a feeding station set up and little insulated houses for the cats. Bonnie showed up about the same time as three other cats. When the volunteer talked to  this pretty Torti she didn’t run away but wouldn’t come to her either. Bonnie would chat back with little meows so she knew it wouldn’t take long to pet her. Bonnie claimed one of the insulated houses in her yard & came when  called. It only took a couple weeks, which for Bonnie was probably a lifetime, to be able to pet her so the volunteer asked Pet Patrol if they would take her in & of course they would. Hopefully she can find a home that will be her forever home.

Personality:

Bonnie is a gentle and loving cat who would thrive in a quiet home with people who love her.  She is great with other cats and is happy to snuggle with them on a fuzzy blanket and groom their ears.  She has a sweet little purr.  Her coat is very pretty with colours of sable, orange, tan and bits of black and has the sweetest face.  She likes to swat at the ribbon dangling from the wand toy, chase the laser pen light, and if ever there was a mouse in the house, it would not stand a chance.  Her hunting skills are refined and she can catch the feather toy in midair.  Bonnie may be a bit timid in her new environment, but it does not take her long to adjust. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home.  One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.personality description here
