Rescue:
Told by his rescuer: This handsome little guy started showing up on our deck back in the fall.
On his frequent visits he would watch my two kitties on the other side of the sliding door and
gently paw at the glass. We would leave food for him, but couldn’t get very close. He was quite
thin and we thought he might have a cold by the sound of his breathing. We posted his picture
on our neighbourhood page as well as with a Found cat site but nobody seemed to know who
he was. Recently he returned shivering and thinner than ever on what was a very cold day. We
couldn’t leave him out there so I slowly opened the door to let him in. After a few minutes inside
he was a different cat. He quickly allowed me to pet him, was very friendly and wanted to
approach both my cats in the most gentle way. Being unable to find his owner, feeling that he
was abandoned and in need of help I turned to Pet Patrol to help him medically and to find a
forever home for him.
Personality:
While in Pet Patrol care, at the sanctuary, Farrow has proven to be a lovely cat, calm, curious
and a real sweetheart. He is very investigative and likes to check out everything, see who is
new coming into the house and what is in the bag or box. He is fine with the other cats and
likes to play Tag and Hide and Seek with them but also entertains himself nicely with toys of all
kinds. He likes to run. So any interactive playing with his people that involves chasing the
illusive little red dot, the wand toy or a bouncy ball thrown down the hallway – he is all for it. He
is quite affectionate as well and would like a home with more than one person. Farrow is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors
