Rescue:

Lennon is one lucky cat. He was first noticed running around a property looking for a way to
get into the shop as a storm was coming. Having a cat door, the people inside the warm
house, knew he would find it eventually, and he did. He took up residence there and the couple
started feeding him and named him Lennon. They noticed he crossed a road every day,
never finding out why, but were concerned because it was a busy four lane road. Then one
day, it happened. Lennon appeared on their back deck, dragging his hind end. He was
struggling. Concerned about the cost of care if they took him to the vet “he is no body’s cat!”
they called the closest cat rescue organization. The woman who runs it is a Registered Nurse
and did not detect any broken bones and Lennon was not in pain. She knew that it could be
temporary paralysis from a fall or hit by a car. With vet guidence him comfortable (he did not
seem to be in any pain) and tend to his needs. Lennon is definitely a survivor and has regained
full function of his back legs and is a happy mobile kitty now.

Personality:

Such a nice boy to have such a scary thing happen to him. Described as a big sweetheart, he
is missed by his first foster home, as he is gentle and kind. Lennon is one of the nicest cats
and gets along with everyone. He is definitely a people cat and likes to have love and attention
given to him, and in return he smiles and purrs contently. Such a lovely boy. His mobility is
just fine, no injuries, no broken bones and no damaged tendons. He is one lucky boy. Now
ready for adoption, Lennon would do well in a home with older children, passive cats and
gentle dogs. He is not high energy but is playful and fun loving. The cat tree is a favorite and
so is sharing your pillow at night. Lennon is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
