Rescue:

Milo and Maddie were rescued by a woman who at one time was quite involved with rescuing
barn cats, finding homes for the friendly ones and the kittens, and spaying or neutering the
unsociable ones. At one point she had quite a few cats that she kept as her own. Some
came from deplorable situations; others were abandoned house cats. She is now at a point in
her life where her home needs to be sold, she will be living in an apartment where she does
not have to worry about maintenance and taking care of a property, but it also means that she
has to reduce the number of cats in her home. Her health is not great and she worries about
being able to continue to work. Milo and his sister Maddie have come into our care to find
new forever homes.

Personality:

From their care giver: Milo and Maddie are a bonded pair that like to do the Indy 500 at least
once a day around the house. He is quite the talker, and chats to the other kitties in the house,
to his toys, and his sister. She is a sweet girl, likes men and is always in the mood for pets
and ear rubs. They both love to watch the birds from the window seat with each other. Milo’s
favourite toy is a crocodile which he carries in his mouth, making murping noises as he goes.
He sprawls on the bed to have his tummy and back rubbed. Maddie likes to get back rubs
when she is reclining on her mat or cuddled in one of the cat beds. They sleep together, and
spend time cuddling and grooming each other. Milo and Maddie are ready to be adopted
into their forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors.
