Rescue:

It is unknown who Leo’s original owners were. He was found outside an apartment that is in a
complex with quite a few other buildings and busy streets around it . He could have been
abandoned, allowed outside and got disoriented or ran out of his home and was lost. He’s a
beautiful cat, shy but friendly. People in the apartment building were asking who the owner
might be and one woman thought it could be her cat. She and her partner came to see him but
couldn’t be sure and so he remained in the rescuer‘s home. The next day she took him in to
the vet clinic to have him checked for the microchip and there was none, but he was also not
neutered. Not finding an owner over five or six days he was brought into Pet Patrol care where
we have discovered such a sweet cat who is now ready to be adopted into his forever home.

Personality:

Leo, although a bit reserved, is a very sweet cat. He has come along nicely in the sanctuary
and then did even better in his foster home. He was quite unsure with his new environment as
his previous lifestyle had been very secluded, unfriendly and deprived. It was wonderful to see
him start playing with toys, responding to people and purring delightfully. To see him stretch
out in the middle of the floor and have his belly rubbed made us smile. He is gorgeous and just
a doll. Leo prefers to be in an adult only home where the focus is on him. Small children or
dogs may be a little disruptive for him, but he is fine with other cats. He is deserving of so
much more in his life and is ready for adoption into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors
