Rescue:
Here is their rescue story: A woman who is raising six children with her husband, already own
two cats themselves. Their life is busy and to accommodate caring for their family one parent
works days and the other nights. Their life is full but when a friend reached out to them to
help with two more cats, they did not hesitate. The message was relayed to them by one of
their children that a classmate needed a place for their two cats (they needed to ‘disappear’)
for just a short while. This family said they could accommodate them for that time, especially
since they planned on taking them back, no problem. Fast forward four months and the owners
came to visit the cats once but basically never came back for them. Promises were made
to pick them up, dozens of times, but it never happened. Finally, the family gave them a dead
line and said the cats would be turned over to a cat rescue organization if not picked up by
then. They heard nothing from the original owners. Sneakers and Kevin are not in Pet Patrol
care. They are lovely cats and deserve a permanent and loving home together.
Personality:
Both Sneakers and Kevin are lovely cats and very comfortable in a family setting. They are
used to children and other cats, and look forward to being pet, played with and cuddled. they
are easy to pick up and carry, and will show you their skills are lap warming, kitty kissing and
purring contently. They have shown us their playful side, testing out just about anything they
can find that they think will be fun. Cat tunnels, crinkle balls, catnip mice and cardboard boxes
all are entertainment, as well as watching the outside world, comfortably from the window sill.
Sneakers and Kevin are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
