Rescue:

Here is his rescue story told by our volunteer: I have spoken with the lady who has Mickey, and
who is reluctantly giving him up. She has two neutered male cats and took in Mickey from a
friend whose child had advanced allergies to him. She describes him as a handsome, gentle
boy of four years who likes people. Unfortunately her other cats hate the new feline in the
house and have made his life a misery. He does not seem to be able to stand up to the bullies
– has done nothing to provoke them. Mickey is now living by himself in a well-appointed
bedroom while the other cats lurk around the door. Owner has tried everything to integrated
them, but to no avail, and tries to spend time with him. Mickey is loved but this is just not the
right home for him to thrive in. Soon he was on his way to Pet Patrol and onto a better life.

Personality:

Mickey can be the most affectionate cat once he settles in. He loves attention and affection
from people and in return will bunt his head into your hand for more, rub up against your legs
and purrs deeply. Having lived in a bedroom for so long he has become quite a snuggler at
bed time and is very content to be hugged and share your pillow. He can be a playful cat and
likes interactive toys like the wand, chasing the laser pen light and watching fish TV. Mickey is
a beautiful cat inside and out and is looking for a home that will appreciate his gentle nature
and share their heart with him. He is ready to be adopted into a forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
