Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who asked if we would take in four little kittens.
She lived adjacent to a very rundown farm where the cats have been breeding uncontrollably
for years. New owners took over the property and they started cleaning things up and all was
going well. There were many cats that this woman had spayed or neutered to make sure that
the overpopulation of cats stopped. The main reason is because the cats would migrate to her
property to give birth safely in her chicken coop. This was away from the large trucks, and
male cats plus wildlife that are on the original farm property that they came from. Our volunteer
arrived at the woman’s home to see the four kittens and there was a fifth little boy too, who
was all alone. Quickly we popped him in the room with the other four babies and he was welcomed
immediately. Polly, Posy, Orianna and Oliver, are lovely little kittens and have been
socialized beautifully
Personality:
Polly (calico) and Posy (tortie) are bonded sisters who can be unsure of new surroundings but
once comfortable they are friendly kittens who love to play with each other and their toys. They
will let you pet them and will reward you with deep purrs and kitty smiles. Toys, of course are a
favourite way for them to burn off their energy and they like chasing the plastic springs, running
through the kitty tunnel and climbing the cat trees. It is very sweet to watch and interact with.
Posy is fearful of dogs and Polly is tolerant, so a dog free and adult only home is suggested.
These girls are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into
the family and keep them safely indoors
