Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who lives in a small town. She does cat
rescue and re homing and has been very helpful with bottle feeding kittens in the past.
She reached out to Pet Patrol to see if we had a foster home for Briar and Brooks and her
siblings, and luckily, we did. Here is their story, told by their cat rescue care giver: “They
are adorable and settling down in our care. We have no space for them as we have more
coming in from the same property, a farm. These kittens were all born indoors to a mother
cat who was allowed to be indoor/outdoor. The family is going to have her spayed and
then keep her as a family pet. She arrived at their property late in the fall, super friendly
and affectionate. They took her to the local vet and had her scanned for a microchip but
none was found and they then assumed, because there are a lot of farms and barns
around them, that she migrated from one of them and stayed because they fed her well.
Shortly after that it was noticed she was pregnant and the family brought her indoors and
the children helped to raise the kittens to be family friendly.”

Personality:

Briar and Brooks: These two are very friendly kittens. They are curious and like to be
involved in what their foster family is doing, even if that means helping with homework or
puzzle pieces. They like to be picked up and carried or cuddled and will come back and
forth for more pets. As lap cats, they are the best, purring while you pet them and snuggling
into a soft blanket nodding off for a cat nap. Like all kittens they are active and adventurous.
They bound around after each other in games of Chase, jumping and swatting at
the wand toys and they love the top perch of the cat tree. What a nice little cats. Briar and
Brooks are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome
them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
