Rescue:

A woman who runs a small cat rescue organization in another town had brought cats to us
earlier this year. She doesn’t have the same resources as Pet Patrol and at that time was
reaching out to many rescue organizations about a colony of cats. She put in a lot of time and
effort in order to place these cats in the safe hands of rescues. Recently we received a call
from her in regards to a momma cat and her five kittens. They were outside and the kittens
were sick. They had colds and their eyes were infected , it was a very sad sight. One of our
volunteers met her halfway and brought them directly to the vet clinic where they were saddened
to see the shape of the kittens. Mostly their vision was impaired because the eyelids
were fused shut from infection. After their examination they were brought to the sanctuary and
their prescribed medication was administered. They were reunited with their mother and
everyone has regained their health and done well.

Personality:

Hisaku and her siblings have been through a lot with recovering their vision, but they were very
patient and easy to care for. They all have very loving and affectionate personalities and are
social and cuddly. Hisaku’s name means sun flower and she is bright and sunny. She will lay
on your lap and enjoys petting until she falls asleep. Playtime is so much fun to watch, and the
kittens are interested in interactive play with their people as well as siblings or buddies. Cardboard
boxes with peep holes, kitty tunnels and a variety of toys that roll and rattle make for
great entertainment for all. Hisaku and her siblings, Hoshi, Hatura and Hai are ready to be
adopted into their forever homes with a sibling or playmate. A home that will welcome them
into the family and keep them safely indoors.
