Rescue:

Little Jester was part of a large colony of cats that resided on a bee farm just outside of town.
The woman who owned the property was a security guard and worked with one of our volunteers,
and one day she mentioned how many cats she had in the barn. Our volunteer offered
to help with a few and since then has continually tried to rescue the mother cat as she produces
two to three litter per year. Unfortunately the farmer is old school and doesn’t believe
they should be spayed. During the early winter the woman was doing some chores and spotted
a couple of little orange kittens running around playing, then they disappeared for a few
days. Finally, she saw them closer to the house and set the humane trap up; managing to
rescue Jester and she is still looking for his brother. Within an hour of being brought indoors
Jester was purring up a storm and playing and loving the life indoors

Personality:

Jester is just the cutest. He loves to be picked up and cuddled, will purr deeply and nestle into
your neck as you pet him and rub his back. He is a little sweetheart with a fun loving personality,
easy-going and adaptable. Jester has done very well in his foster home, integrating in with
the other cats and is now exploring the wide new world of a house. Toys were a mystery to
him but now he has his favourites and loves the kitty tunnel and cat tree. We are not sure how
he would do with children under 12 but otherwise he is just a lovely little guy. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
