Rescue:
Little Artemis and Apollo were abandoned kittens found last year when Covid started. At
that time, spay/neuter surgeries were nonessential during the spring breeding season
resulting in an abundance of abandoned kittens and cats. These two were found on a
country property, by themselves looking weak, thin and disheveled, obviously someone
dropped them off. That particular farm does not feed the cats because they do not want
too many of them around. No food, no cats. Artimus was found in the ditch by the road,
and Apollo was trying to find shelter in a turned over bucket. Both came into Pet Patrol
care and became healthy and happy cats and were adopted. Fast forward a year and the
family, sadly, needed to rehome them. Allergies flared up badly for one family member and
they tried everything to help control the situation, but nothing worked. Back in Pet Patrol
care Artemis and Apollo are well adjusted cats seeking another home to love them.
Personality:
Artemis is definitely a girly girl. She doesn’t like wresting but loves to be held and cuddled,
giving a lot of kitty kisses to her people. She has a funny habit of looking at you upside
down to get your attention – adorable! Apollo is very curious and likes to be on the move.
He loves to play and can be enticed to chase just about anything. He is always in a hurry
but also needs a good long snuggly nap every afternoon. Both cats like to run and play,
creating games of Hide & Seek and Chase. They can entertain themselves with toys or on
the cat tree looking outside but also seek out their people for interactive play with the wand
toys and tossing of toy mice. Catnip anything is always a big hit. These lovely, well adjusted
cats, will fit into any home easily. They are lovely and ready to be adopted into
their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
