ADOPTION PROFILE

Matata

Matata

Matata

Rescue:

Matata came from a farm property that is owned by people who do things the traditional way.
Some don’t have cars as their mode of transportation, they all dress the same and they are
quite united in their community. On this farm the house is rented out to “city folk” and the barn
is used for livestock by the landlord. There are quite a few cats in the barn that are generally
viewed as a nuisance and the over population of cats was beginning to become out of control.
The people who rented the house began feeding the cats and watching out for them, even
bringing them indoors, which was not allowed by the landlord. But during a conversation they
seemed to come to an agreement – the renters will care for the cats and find homes for them,
and the owners will not interfere as a good deed is being done. Pet Patrol was one of the
many cat rescues that were contacted to help with this colony. We were happy to bring in
Matata and help her on her way to a good life in a good home.

Personality:

Matata is a lovely cat. She is very sweet, dainty, and has absolutely beautiful colors to her
coat. She is a classic brown tabby which means that her stripes are wide and rich in color.
They form a circle on her side and as these cats mature, they become even more attractive.
She is gentle and playful, liking toys she can chase and viewing the world from the top perch of
the cat tree. Easy to pick up and carry, she likes to jump up on the couch beside you for a pet
and cuddling. She is quite affectionate and would be very good company for someone with
one other cat, or on her own. She is adorable and ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely and doors
