Rescue:

A woman living in a small town up north had mentioned that she had two cats, that were
bonded, that needed to be rehomed. They originated in a very large city, from the local animal
shelter. They are friendly and affectionate and did well in their original home. Unfortunately,
that owner passed away and a family friend, the woman, offered to take them into her care.
She really enjoyed their company and they did well in her care. But life changes and especially
with the pandemic, she found herself in a position where she needed to move and the
cats were not welcomed. She wanted to make sure that they were adopted into a good home
that would care for them properly. Soon they were in Pet Patrol care and have done well in
their foster home.

Personality:

Hemmie is a sweet grey toned Siamese cross girl who is sometimes shy, sometimes affectionate
but she is always interested in what people are doing. She likes her belly rubbed. And
purrs deeply when pet or brushed. She loves children and people alike! She’s quite bonded
to her sister Kooda who has a beautiful black and white coat. She is chatty and likes to talk to
her caregivers. She can be found snuggling into soft blankets and cushy beds in the mornings
or in the evenings. She will wander around the house meowing if she cannot find her sister
Hemmie. Both of these beautiful cats are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
