Rescue:
Sometimes other cat rescue organizations reach out to Pet Patrol to see if we can take in a
cat or two, ones they have not been able to find foster homes for. Pet Patrol has been around
for a very long time and we do have a fair number of fosters and we do have a sanctuary which
is fairly rare for non-profit organizations. Soon the three little cats came in, this would be rider
and his two sisters Ribbon and Ripple. Lovely cats who were just really frightened. They had
been found in someone’s yard, living in the garden shed. The people were good to them
making sure they had food and water but they couldn’t stay there. The kittens were getting to
an age where if they were not rescued soon, they may not be able to be socialized. These
three kittens have found that with a little time and patience people are pretty nice.
Personality:
Ruffles was initially unsure of people and seemed quite shy. Once given some time to adjust,
she came out of her shell and began exploring her surroundings. She is an easy-going kitten
who made herself comfortable quite quickly. She is a sweet and loving girl who enjoys being
pet and getting brushed while taking a nap. She can always be seen snuggling up to her litter
mates. She loves all toys but favours her scratching post which she climbs up and down from.
Ruffles is ready to be adopted into her forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
