Rescue:

Sometimes other cat rescue organizations reach out to Pet Patrol to see if we can take in a
cat or two, ones they have not been able to find foster homes for. Pet Patrol has been around
for a very long time and we do have a fair number of fosters and we do have a sanctuary which
is fairly rare for non-profit organizations. Soon the three little cats came in, this would be Rider
and his two sisters Ribbon and Ripple. Lovely cats who were just really frightened. They had
been found in someone’s yard, living in the garden shed. The people were good to them
making sure they had food and water but they couldn’t stay there. The kittens were getting to
an age where if they were not rescued soon, they may not be able to be socialized. These
three kittens have found that with a little time and patience people are pretty nice.

Personality:

Ribbon is a sweet girl who is the most adventurous of her siblings. She is inquisitive and must
be the first to investigate anything new brought into her foster home. She loves to play and can
be very active. While a little shy at first, she quickly warms up to new people if they entice her
with a toy. Once tired out, she loves to settle down on the bed for a quiet nap with her siblings.
Like her brother, Ribbon begins to purr as soon as she gets pet. Ribbon is ready to be
adopted into her forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
