Rescue:
One of our volunteers works at a hospital and she had been approached by the security guard.
They were on break and watching the torrential downpour outside worried about the cats who
are living on the street and how were they going to fair through this storm. The security guard
mentioned that she and her husband have a hobby farm with an endless number of cats it
seems. They are not big on putting the money out to have them spayed or neutered and so
therefore the cats continually breed. Since that first conversation Pet Patrol has taken in quite
a few cats from this property and our volunteer is helping to have the adults spayed/neutered
at a local low-cost clinic. Little J. and his family are all nice little kittens, easy to pick up and
pet. They were very concerned about their change of lifestyle from the barn to a nice play
room, but soon adjusted and have done extremely well in our care
Personality:
Jewel and Jessie are quite attached to each other and are active kittens that like to climb,
wrestle and play hide and seek in the kitty tunnels. Small soft toys are fun to chase and carry
around like little hunters with their catch. They are very curious about new things coming into
the house and new people are welcomed by purrs and offering themselves for pets. Like all
kittens, they need their down time too, so snuggling with each other or with their people is a
lovely way to cat nap. Jewel and Jessie are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
