Rescue:
Hollyn was discovered living in a subdivision in the city. She has been walking around, quite
chatty and interested in her surroundings. She wasn’t shy, she would go up to people and let
them know that she was there and that she was very hungry. One woman took it upon herself to
feed her and Hollyn and decided to stay. But the woman was not in a position to want to own
another cat even though it was quite tempting with this nice girl. Searching for her owner
through some of the local animal lost and found sites there were a number of tabbies that had
been lost. This is heart wrenching. The difference with Hollyn is that her left ear is clipped. This
means that she was part of a trap, neuter release program and was already spayed. Unfortunately
she was not micro chipped. This is very odd because in this particular city all stray cats
who are trap, neuter released are microchipped. To this date we have been unable to trace Hollins
original owner.
Personality:
Hollyn is an adorable cat who has made herself right at home. We have found her favorite type
of person is male, kind and gentle. She is not a fan of active children, sudden noises or movements.
She is quite friendly and affectionate though, liking to sit with you watching TV or
cuddling up at bedtime. She is adorable, polite and well behaved. It has been interesting
watching her discover toys, something she has not had for a very long time, or ever. Catnip is
the favourite though. Hollyn is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors
