Rescue:
Korbin was found wandering a subdivision that backs onto farm land. The homes are very
nice, neat and tidy, spacious inside with lush lawns and family friendly fences. It is not common
to see such a friendly cat roaming the neighbourhood. Most owned cats are kept strictly
indoors as there are predators like fox, coyote and hawks that prey heavily on any moving
creature. House cats often aren’t street smart enough to notice they are being stalked and
can unexpectedly disappear permanently from their yards or surrounding wooded lots. When
Korbin showed up no one seemed to know where he came from, but they did enjoy his company
when he came to visit. His coat was nice and shiny, so they felt he was someone’s cat,
just allowed to be indoor/outdoor. He disappeared for several weeks and when he showed up
again he was definitely thinner, his coat was dull and he was starving. He was going door to
door crying and wanting into the houses. No one would let him in. Soon he was brought into
Pet Patrol care where he has proven to be a loving and sweet natured cat. He deserves a
good life.
Personality:
Korbin is a happy cat who likes people attention and love. He doesn’t mind being picked up
and carried, will lay in your arms and is very content to cuddle. He is fine with the other cats in
the sanctuary and will often lay side by side with them. He hasn’t picked out a buddy here yet.
He is intrigued by toys that he can chase and jump up after, the kitty climber is a nice perch,
but laying in the window sill and catching a few rays is a good afternoon activity. Korbin is all
round a good cat and will be good company for the right person. He is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors..
