Rescue:

Here is an email that was sent to Pet Patrol about Kimchee : “Hi! I am in a situation where I
need to relinquish a one-year-old kitty. Because he is so high energy his original owners got a
kitten for him. When it didn’t work out they kept the kitten and surrendered Kimchee to their
vet, where my daughter works. (Have since heard that the children in the home were rough
with the cats). This lovely boy was kept in a cage for two months and I felt so bad for him and
took him home to foster. Because he is so active, playful and energetic it was too much for my
13-year-old deaf cat. He would do great with another high energy cat. He is neutered and is
completely up to date on vaccines. He’s beautiful and I love the little guy … I just cannot keep
him. Please help! I can hold on to him until you have room. Thank you for considering him.”.
Within a few days Kimchee came into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Kimchee is a really nice cat. Initially a little concerned when he arrived at the sanctuary. Because
he had full view of the playroom from his little kitty apartment, he soon settled in. He
displayed his chatty self, asking questions about our routine, when can he be pet and he was
happy to see toys and tunnels to play in. He is not one to hide when in a new environment, but
rather to observe and investigate. He is quite confident. He is playful too, and in need of a home
with a playmate to keep him busy. He is affectionate and loving as well, liking pets and ear
rubs. He will lay beside you and make himself comfortable. Kimchee is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
