ADOPTION PROFILE

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a phone call from a woman who had adopted two cats from us last spring.
They have become quite a joy in their house and have adapted into the family beautifully. One
day they saw a couple of little kittens outside in their yard, they were very frightened and unsure
of what was going on. Where was your mother? She was nowhere in sight. The people
brought the kittens into their garage, provided a clean space and playpen for them. A few
days later they noticed mom going by and they took the kittens out to her. She sniffed them
and the babies were happy to see her and then she disappeared again. Not wanting the
kittens to become prey to coyote or hawks, they again brought them into the garage where
they took good care of them, even naming them Peanut Butter and Jelly. They were very small
and their vet was consulted to make sure they did everything right. Once they were big
enough to crawl out of the pen the family knew the love and cuddles they had given them would
now need to be shared with a forever home. They had called family and friends about adopting
them but no one was ready to take on two little ones. Remembering Pet Patrol and being
comfortable with our services Peanut Butter and Jelly were brought into our care.

Personality:

Their personalities are reflected in their names – sweet and a great combination of affection
and entertainment. These two are very handsome boys and are extremely bonded to each
other. Definitely two peas in a pod. They are very loving sweet kittens, healthy and outgoing
and are comfortable being cuddled and held. They are playful beyond belief. Anything can
become a toy, an adventure and something to investigate thoroughly. Peanut Butter and Jelly
are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family
and keep them safely indoors.
