Rescue:
One of our volunteers works at a hospital and she had been approached by the security guard.
They were on break and watching the torrential downpour outside worried about the cats who
are living on the street and how were they going to fair through this storm. The security guard
mentioned that she and her husband have a hobby farm with an endless number of cats it
seems. They are not big on putting the money out to have them spayed or neutered and so
therefore the cats continually breed. Since that first conversation Pet Patrol has taken in quite
a few cats from this property and our volunteer is helping to have the adults spayed/neutered
at a local low-cost clinic. Little Joshua and his family are all nice little kittens, easy to pick up and
pet. They were very concerned about their change of lifestyle from the barn to a nice play
room, but soon adjusted and have done extremely well in our care.
Personality:
Joshua is a cuddle bug and likes to have a lot of attention. He is easy to pick up and carry,
pet, give nice little neck massages to and in return he will give you big purrs. He is also quite
playful and joins in on games of Pounce, Hide & Seek and tunnel diving. Chasing his siblings
and jumping out at them is great fun. Joshua is known for carrying soft toy balls around and
making like he is a great hunter with his catch. This lovely boy is ready to be adopted into his
forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
