Rescue:
One of our volunteers works at a hospital and she had been approached by the security guard.
They were on break and watching the torrential downpour outside worried about the cats who
are living on the street and how were they going to fair through this storm. The security guard
mentioned that she and her husband have a hobby farm with an endless number of cats it
seems. They are not big on putting the money out to have them spayed or neutered and so
therefore the cats continually breed. Since that first conversation Pet Patrol has taken in quite
a few cats from this property and our volunteer is helping to have the adults spayed/neutered
at a local low-cost clinic. Little J. and his family are all nice little kittens, easy to pick up and
pet. They were very concerned about their change of lifestyle from the barn to a nice play
room, but soon adjusted and have done extremely well in our care.
Personality:
Jacob loves to play and is high energy, fun loving and curious. He likes to run, climb and dive
through the kitty tunnel in games of chase with his siblings. His favourite toy is the plastic
springs. Needing down time Jacob can always fit in a cuddle, a lap nap or a cozy blanket
When he wants attention, he will chirp at you while rubbing up against your legs. Jacob is
ready to be adopted into his forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors
