Rescue:
A woman who is a supporter of Pet Patrol and has rescued many cats herself works in a
medical building. She was approached by the security guard one day who mentioned that she
and her husband have a country property and when they purchased it there were a few cats in
the barn. They began feeding them but it soon became apparent that they were going to
begin breeding, and they did. Through friends and family they found homes for some of the
unwanted kittens, but it was impossible to re home all of them. The cats were starting to
overrun the farm, and yet the couple did not believe in having them spayed or neutered to
control the over population. The coworker went to assess the situation and found several
kittens of age and ready to be rescued. Soon they were on their way to Pet patrol. This was
Elodie and her four siblings
Personality:
Elodie is a bit of a shy girl and hesitant of people still, but coming out of her shell more and
more each day. She has a lot of love to give though, and she is all in for a chin scratch and
head rubs – she happily purrs away. She’s learning to like tummy rubs too. It’s been wonderful
seeing her trust and confidence grow! Elodie likes to cuddle up on a warm, cozy blanket or in
a hammock and particularly enjoys playing with springs, wand toys and other cats. Known for
her stalking abilities she watches the world around her and is keen on what the birds are up to.
Elodie would benefit from a patient home for her to become comfortable and let her sweet
personality shine. She is learning about being picked up and cuddled and we see lots of this
ahead in her future! Elodie is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors
