Rescue:

A humane trap was dropped off at a small little house in a small little village as we had been alerted to three kittens that were living under someone’s deck. They were cute little kittens and overtime they were petting them and socializing them. They were a little nervous of them being outside, especially on days when their mother disappeared on them. As the kittens got older the momma cat realized they had shelter and food from the people and she started to leave them for longer periods of time. As long as her kittens are looked after she had other things to do.  The couple realized the kittens would become mature and able to breed on their own. By the time these three came into Pet Patrol care they were within four weeks of maturity. This would have created a colony of twelve of more cats before the snow flies. Just the thought of bringing in more unwanted cats didn’t appeal to them and they reached out to Pet Patrol for help

Personality:

Chip is a very handsome White and Black kitten with adorable markings including the black freckle on his cheek.  He looks very calm and cool but he’s a cautious boy and still a bit tentative about being approached and picked up.  He has made great progress on being pet and is purring more often as he becomes more comfortable in his surroundings.  Chip loves to lay back and observe what’s happening around him, he likes to lick our fingers.  Chip is a sweet and gentle kitten who plays well with his siblings and one of his favourite toys that he picks up by the antenna  is a dragonfly shaped cat toy. Chip is ready to be adopted into his forever family. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
