Rescue:

PetPatrol received a message from a woman saying that she had two cats, Kiki and her six month old son Chonkers. The family was moving and were unable to take the cats with them. It was a very stressful time and no one was happy about making this decision. Because of Covid a lot of different things have happened to different families and found themselves in difficult situations where they are unable to keep their pets. Both of these cats were described as very friendly and sweet, healthy but unfortunately had not been spayed/neutered or vaccinated. The couple were upset that they were unable to take the cats with them.  Perhaps they were moving in with family and due to allergies, the cats needed to be rehomed, or to a rental property that forbade cats.  Tears were shed and it was a very difficult decision for them to make. We will do our very best for Kiki and Chonkers.  They are adorable.

Personality:

Chonkers is much bigger than his mother Kiki, but is gentle and loving. He is happy to be with
his people, cuddling up to them, giving kitty kisses and being picked up and carried. He will
settle right into your arms even relax enough to nod off to sleep. He is all boy though and likes to
run around after toys and scale the cat climber, he is entertained easily with a card board box
and the laser pen light. Chonkers is long and lean, handsome and quite handsome. He is ready
to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and kept him
safely indoors.
