Rescue:

Pet Patrol received and email from a woman living in a neighbouring town: “We found a
young male cat on our street. He is not fixed and has no collar on. He is white with brown
tabby patches. Looks clean but thin. I have fed him and he comes around now for food and
has become very friendly. My daughter did post a picture on the local lost and found. I hope
someone is looking for him. I cannot keep him.” It seems that Vinny just appeared and none
of the neighbours could identify him. The woman reached out to Pet Patrol for help and soon
this lovely boy, now named Vinny, was in our care and immediately went to the food dish. He
ate and slept for three days to regain his energy and health. He has done very well here. No
original home was found for him

Personality:

Vinny is a funny cat. As soon as you look at him he perks up, mumbles a meow and anticipates
you petting him. He is so loving and affectionate and adores people. He will flop over
on his side readily, wiggle around until he is on his back and offering his tummy for a rub. He
purrs deeply when pet and pushes into your hand for an ear rub and chin scratch. Vinny is
super sweet and very social. It has been fun to watch him chase after toys, dive through the
kitty tunnel and explore his new surroundings. He is outgoing and will make friends with anyone.
Vinny is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors
