Rescue:

A woman had contacted her local cat rescue organization, small in size with high intake,
saying she had found this lovely dilute calico cat wandering the neighborhood. No one
seemed to know where she came from, and no one was willing to give her a home. The
woman could see that this cat, whom she named Amy, was very friendly and very sweet but
it took no time for her to realize that she was pregnant. The woman had been feeding Amy
for a couple of weeks and after having good nutrition the pregnancy really took hold and
the kittens began to grow inside of her quickly. The woman brought her into her home and
with in a week she gave birth to five little kittens. It was lovely to see them all; when brought into our care, they were just five or six weeks of age, healthy and friendly.
Such a delight to have kittens that were born in a house and not under a deck, in the shed
or in a barn. Soon they were on their way to a foster home (Azurill included) where they
have all thrived.

Personality:

Azurill and his siblings have done extremely well in their foster home. There are lots of
toys and young children who have handled them gently. Like his siblings he is named after
a Pokemon character. The cats are easy to pick up and cuddle, some will fall asleep on
your lap, on their backs, feet up in the air. They have enjoyed the kitten playroom in their
foster home with a wide variety of toys. The kitty climber and any toy that rolls, bounces,
jingles or dangles is sure to catch their attention. One of their favourites is the cardboard
box with peep holes in it for spying on anything that moves in the room. All of the kittens
are gentle and sweet natured, handled with love and care by the foster family. Azuelle is
ready to be adopted with a playmate into his forever home. One that will welcome him into
the family and keep him safely indoors
