Rescue:
During peak kitten season – which runs from mid June to mid August, Pet Patrol takes in
hundres of kittens. They come from different environments (indoors, outdoors, homes, barns,
ditches and back yards) and some are in good health and others not. Neo and his nine other
siblings or cousins come into Pet Patrol care in one afternoon. They all came from one location a nice clean home. A woman in a small town took in a female cat and her kittens. There
were four girls and two boys. It was very entertaining and the love was enormous for these cats
as they grew up in a family home. But she did not have them spayed or neutered and once
mature the females became pregnant. Now what to do? She thought that she would be able
to find homes for the kittens, but since there were several litters born within a 12 day period it
immediately became clear that she would not be able to do that . Between her local cat rescue
organization and Pet Patrol, the twenty or more kittens were taken into care. All are friendly
and loved, raised in a clean environment and were well cared for.
Personality:
Neo is a laid back and calm kitty with a chill attitude. Like his siblings he is excited when he
sees birds or squirrels outside in the trees, and he likes to know that is happening in the
neighbourhood as well. He will watch the cars and people going by, wondering what dogs are
and where they are going. Neo is playful as well and will chase a bell ball around, batting it
and making it bounce off the baseboards or tumble down the stairs to continue the romp
around the house. He is one to like napping with his siblings or on your lap, affectionate and
looking at you with loving in his eyes when you stroke his ears. Neo is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
