Rescue:

During peak kitten season – which runs from mid June to mid August, Pet Patrol takes in
hundres of kittens. They come from different environments (indoors, outdoors, homes, barns,
ditches and back yards) and some are in good health and others not. Nash and his nine other
siblings or cousins come into Pet Patrol care in one afternoon. They all came from one location – a nice clean home. A woman in a small town took in a female cat and her kittens. There
were four girls and two boys. It was very entertaining and the love was enormous for these cats
as they grew up in a family home. But she did not have them spayed or neutered and once
mature the females became pregnant. Now what to do? She thought that she would be able
to find homes for the kittens, but since there were several litters born within a 12 day period it
immediately became clear that she would not be able to do that . Between her local cat rescue
organization and Pet Patrol, the twenty or more kittens were taken into care. All are friendly
and loved, raised in a clean environment and were well cared for.

Personality:

Nash is the most athletic and energetic of his siblings. He is always ready to romp around the
house, chasing or being chased by one, two or even all three of his siblings. He can scale the
cat tree easily and is always interested in what the birds, squirrels and neighbours are doing.
He has excellent hunting skills and will take down a catnip mouse quickly and anything that
wiggles or jiggles in the cat tunnel is pounced on. He is definitely an explorer. All toys are
intriguing to him. Nash is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
