Rescue:
Mitchell came from a small town up north where people tend to know each other and recognize
a new stray cat in the area. Back fence chats and greeting neighbours while out for walks
is common place and Mitchell came up in the conversation. This handsome boy had been
around for a while and a lot of people fed him but no one wanted to own him. Being concerned
for his welfare, Pet Patrol was called by one woman as it didn’t seem right to leave him
outside in the summer heat and with threats of predators. As well, as an unaltered male he
would be contributing to the overpopulation of cats in this small community. Soon after he was
in our care and now he will be able to be adopted into a loving and cat oriented home
Personality:
Mitchell is a lovely boy who has fit into the sanctuary without incident. He is good with other
cats, new people and new situations. He has stolen our hearts. As a friendly and affectionate
cat he can be picked up and carried, likes to be cuddled and pet and a good ear rub goes a
long way. Mitchell is enjoying the variety of toys offered to him and shows his gratitude for all
attention with deep purrs and kneading paws. This good boy is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors. He has
had enough of that life style.
