Benjamin

Rescue:

The three little kittens, Brody, Benjamin and Bailey came from a farm where things are
done the traditional way. Their lives are simple, things are reused, fixed, repurposed, there
are no televisions, cars or until recently Hydro to the house. Everyone has a job and
responsibilities, even the friendly barn cat, who had this litter of kittens, is the Chief
Mouser. She is cared for and is a favourite pet on the property and when kittens are born
the family is very protective of them. The children on this particular farm are very good,
gentle and loving with the wee ones, therefore these kittens are well socialized. The only
way the family tries to keep the population under control is by contacted a woman who is
connected to Pet Patrol. Once the kittens reach six weeks of age she is called and soon
they are in our care. So far the family is not interested in having the mother cat spayed.
We will continue to educate them on the importance of spaying and neutering pets, both
living indoors and out.

Personality:

Benjamin is a handsome boy, friendly and affectionate and really likes his people. He is
always happy to see them and is up for a cuddle. He creates games with his siblings and
they love to chase each other around, wrestling is just all part of the daily play routine and
scurrying up the cat tree is such fun. He likes kitty tunnels as well, diving in and out, and
will sneak up and surprise the others. Sometimes he hides under the foot stool that is
covered with a towel to make a cave, peek out from underneath and scope the area.
Benjamin is affectionate with his people and doesn’t mind being picked up and cuddled,
and he loves to be with his sister Bailey as well. He is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him as part of the family and keep him safely indoor
