Rescue:
Mini, Mickey and Mouse were from a desolate farm, well off the beaten path. There was a
large barn with a green roof, a few out buildings and the farm house off to the side. It was
maintained by a couple who were looking forward to many years of farming, and working full
time in the next town. There were a number of cats there and the people, coworkers of the
rescuers, did not want to bother getting the adult cats spayed or neutered. Since they were
so busy, and so far out, the time and travel to take the cats into the city proved to just be too
much. This is a sad situation. Although the cats were fed daily, fresh water put out and there
were nice warm places for them in the winter, their personal health was not dealt with. Their
rescuer, who has connections to Pet Patrol, treated the cats for parasites before she left the
farm, and kept them overnight in her cozy bathroom. The next day the kittens came into our
care thin and a bit skittish, but it didn’t take long for them gain weight and understand that
people are pretty nice. These three kittens are pretty sweet natured.
Personality:
Mouse is a very social and very playful little cat. Always wanting attention she is described as
a cuddle monster and doesn’t want to leave your side, snoozing soundly during a movie or at
bedtime. She is outgoing and playful with her siblings and loves toys, her favourite being little
catnip mice and a ball with a cat nip pouch inside. Mouse loves to snuggle up to her sister
Miki and leads her in exploring the house. They are never to far away from each other and it
would be nice for them to be adopted as a bonded pair. Mouse is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
