Rescue:
Nine kittens! That’s how many a lady had rescued from a desperate situation at a country
farm. This was a place that does things the traditional way, earn their money by selling produce
at the side of the road, farming and odd jobs. The woman saw very quickly that there
were a lot of kittens milling about. She talked to the father about them as she noticed the
children were not treating them well. “Watch this!” one boy said as he threw the kitten high in
the air towards the barn beam. It frantically grasped for anything to hang onto so that it would
not fall to it’s death. She had seen enough. With a little persuasion she gathered up all the
kittens and took them home. They were bathed, treated for parasites and thrived in her care.
Unable to confidently find homes for them she reached out to Pet Patrol and they arrived as
healthy, happy and alert kittens. An opportunity they would never have had if left on the farm.
This woman did a wonderful thing for these little cats.
Personality:
Samuel and Seth look quite a lot a like, almost like twins. Samuel has two stripes on his
cheeks and Seth has three. Samuel is the brave one, very friendly and likes to greet everyone.
He definitely makes himself known and will rub up against your ankles and chats away
saying hello and how was your day. Seth can be more cautious and he tends to let Samuel do
all the leg work and he joins in when all has been checked out. He watches and then joins in.
Both boys are good at purring, cuddles and being pet. They are quite bonded to each other
and will call out if the other is not in sight. Wrestling, kitty tunnels and cardboard boxes are fun
times for these wee boys. They are ready to be adopted into their forever home together.
One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
