Rescue:

A woman reached out to Pet Patrol regarding a litter of kittens that she found under her
deck. She thought that the mother cat belonged to the neighbours as she was seen darting
in and out from where the kittens were found. The woman was concerned because the
babies were now crying, and at the young age of only 3.5 weeks old, they should be well
fed and quiet, so as to not attract predators. It seems that the mother cat disappeared,
and since she had been living at the neighbours for a few years, being fed and sheltered, it
is assumed she had met her demise (coyote are known in the area) and her kittens were
orphaned (Alexander being one of them). The woman and her teenage daughters decided
they would like to foster the kittens, bottle feed them and help to raise them into happy,
healthy kittens.

Personality:

Alexander is a lovely little kitten who has been raised in a family home. He has been raised
with his siblings and allowed full run of the house so that they could develop their natural
curiosity and adventurous nature. Alex is sweet, gentle and cuddly, but also quite playful
and active. Like all kittens he likes toys of all sorts, cardboard boxes and anything that
dangles. If it moves like a mouse or is a reflection on the wall, he is very attentive to it.
Alex is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
